To reduce the weight type rating of your trailer, some physical changes must be made. If your trailer has a VOV, TSV or T number you are in luck, because you only need to change the tow ball coupling and handle assembly, to the correct weight. You can also change the tyre dimensions to the correct weight. If the trailer has an EU number you must do the same changes, although will also need a brake calculation certificate.
